thanks dgc- I got EXTREMELY lucky. we went to a place that you normally had to make reservations a month or more in advance. They had just hired my artist and he refused to take appointments, only walk-ins. I walked in moments before someone else!
cliff- My favorite animal. A more thorough answer is posted here: http://elizabethsphotos.blogspot.com/2005/10/feline-in-all-of-us.html
I have 9 tattoos, and 5 of them are of snakes. I used to have snakes when my wife and I first got married then after our second child I decided to get rid of them because my 10 FT. Boa was getting out of the cage and could probably have eaten my youngest daughter. They had to go.
Wow that is great. That must have been painful. The only one of my tattoos that hurt was the one on my back. (maybe because that is where I have the least amount of cushion?)
Very cool tat! I go though phases where I want to get one and, as an artist, I've drawn some up before. My thing is that I'm so OCD that, if the artist doesn't do it perfectly, I think it would absolutely bother the hell outta me. =) BUT THAT'S VERY COOL!!
bold- just tell your assistant you were doing some tat research because you are getting one after your ironman!
dj- of what?
thanks flatman
rob- 9 tattoos? Holy cow! The only way i will get another is if I have a kid, then I would get a baby tiger.
simba- it REALLY hurt, but I didn't cry, just cringed the whole time.
tammy- you have to really know you want it FOREVER. Make sure if you do it you get a really good artist and it is of something you love
brent- i got extremely lucky, my artist was great and the artwork was awesome. That was the only white tiger tat i had seen in any of the books that I liked.
ryan- yeppers, that's why it is on my back- so noone can see it unless i want them to, and so if i get fat it is not likely to stretch as your back doesn't really get fat. believe me a lot of thought went into it. i wouldnt take it off if i could.
