Spinning

I got in an hour on my trainer tonight. I didn't do any hills tonight just tried to keep a quick cadence at a comfortable pace. From 40-50 minutes I geared up a bit. I did most of the workout at 120 HR (I don't know if that is the correct acronym) and from 40-50 I was mostly at 130 but got up to 150. I was sweating buckets by then! Right now I have a towel ghetto rigged on the bike to keep my sweat from ruining everything :)

Popped in Shrek II to keep me occupied. It actually worked out perfectly because at 40-50 I hit the scene where they break into the potion room and the exit music worked well with my gearing up :)

Now I am going to do some crunches and head to bed so that I can wake up EARLY (4:45) to get my butt to peak to swim again. I don't think I will be doing 4000+ yards this week but more like 2000 :) Keep your fingers crossed on them having my watch!

Reading your blog has reminded me that I should get back on my bike - a Giant OCR1. I bought Shimano tri shoes not that long ago - they're great. Sounds like you got a bargain!

Nice job on the bike! I like having a towel wrapped around my frame, too, when I am on the trainer. Hope you had fun in you swim - 4:45?!! Gah!

i bought a relatively inexpensive fan, which saved me from the towel setup, i posted a pic of it in my blog awhile ago if that helps...

I do that with movies too. I was watching Star War III. Most of the scenes were yapping. I slowed down a lot. When they had the final battle scene, I was riding furiously on my trainer.

On the heart rate thing, it would usually be shorthanded as 120 bpm (beats per minute).
