I love how miserable everyone looks in this photo. This pretty much sums up the last 5 miles of CRIM.

Maybe not so miserable - maybe just focused or maybe focused because they were miserable. Maybe I don't know because I didn't have to endure it.

By the way, Monte sounds like a troubled little creature for the moment, but you gotta admit it made a great blog story.

I think you look pretty good. Focused but still good. Unlike my Musselman ran.

Do people get DQed for wearing headphones in a race?

By the way, do you race with a gel in your hand? I don't think I could.

see, i agree with focused. you look focused and precious. you're one of the few people i see who looks good in all your photos. even in a durned wetsuit! take a break. look gross. you're truly gifted!

This is a great picture! I always look horrendous in my race photos.

But you had fun, right?? Having done this race several times, I know the feeling, but at least it was only 10 miles!

At least you get pictures, at my half in GB in May, I didn't have one photographer catch me....maybe because I was crawling the last 3 miles so they couldn't see my number.

I always loved the expression “my sport is your sports punishment”.. And the other thing I like about running. You can not show off when your running, like you see a lot of in any given weight room.

Cheers.
