Holiday Pies

My First Pies!

Realized after making the dough that we have no roller pin. Had to improvise!

My snowman didn't fit so I had to eat him

Finished product. They tasted great! Who knew baking was so easy?

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We certainly did!

The pies look great! You're a speed demon AND you bake. Is there anything that you can't do?..;-)

I love the way the house smells while baking pies...almost as much as eating the pies later. Nice work.

I like when your blog becomes a running/cooking read. That's two of my favorite things to read about! Those were some beautiful pies. I hope they were part of a great holiday for you.

Uh-oh, David better make some room in the kitchen! :) You're turning into quite the domestic diva; next thing you'll be painting your walls. [Heh]

The pies look great! Our oldest son made us one for Christmas, using his own recipe. It involved three cubes of butter! Oh, my. Have a great New Year's weekend!

What did you use to improvise instead of the rolling pin? What ever you used made everything look great!
