On a lighter note

Milford and I have been re-reading the Harry Potter books this week. Which of course has caused me to stay up late at night and miss my morning workouts. I'll do better next week!

Is anyone else super geeked up about the movie and the last book? Only 6 months!

Yeah, can't wait! I probably should re-read the books too, since I seem to have forgotten a lot of the earlier ones, but re-watching the movies will be more fun. I'll have to have a Harry Potter movie blitz sometime during the winter.

Hee, hee! My cat loves to read with me too. What is it with cats and paper? Seriously. If we want our cat, we start trying to read...

Yep, I'm a Harry fan too. On needles and pins after Dumbledore's demise. :(

are you checking for milford's comprehension? there is always a chance that he's feeling pressure to read beyond his age level. there is so much hoo haw going around about kitty litter-acy and i would understand the need to make sure he's right up there, but you need to make sure he truly understands what he reads. have you thought of asking him questions? what does he think will happen next? how does he feel about this or that in the book?...

i gave up on zuni. she just reads gossip rags and peppa is only concerned about motor mags or sphinx (hairless cat) mags. typical male.

They've inspired me to write a magical franchise.

I am sooo pumped about the new (and last) book coming out this July! I can hardly stand it! I will be finishing graduate school in may and hope to refresh my mind of the past books by re-reading the last couple/few before the new one comes out! I LOVE THEM!

of course milford is into harry potter ... it takes the whole focus off the witch/black cat myth

One day I had dinner with my son in a pub of Edinburgh and he said: "look here"! On my table there was this label (more or less): "Here Joanne Kathleen began to write the story of Harry Potter".

Aww. :)

My cats love reading, too. They prefer celebrity gossip mags.

I enjoy listening to the books on tape rather than reading those long books.

If reading all six out loud to my daughter (in authentic voices and british accents) and texting my wife when I heard the release date for Book 7 counts as "geeked," then, uhm, yeah. That would be me.

toughcookie's comment is hilarious....

As for your last post, I do think running 3:24 marathon is fasty :).

Never read the books, but I've seen the movies. My sister is a total fan of them. The last one was pretty good.

E-speed no more? Pfft. As if!

Cool cat...can he read my course materials for me too and possibly write up reports too? :)

No matter what they say, you're speedy as in e-speed.
