It's Our Anniversary

I've got that damn cheesey R&B tune stuck in my head because, you guessed it, it's mine and David's 4th anniversary.

Time does blow by!

Today was hectic at work, we've got a ton of projects with looming deadlines and it seems like I play a part in all of them. While working like a madwoman to finish up a report my phone rings. On the other end is a lawyer from my old insurance company informing me that she needs my new address because I have been named as a defendant in a lawsuit. Well actually she first tells me she is calling about my accident. Since I haven't been involved in a car accident since September 2005 I ask her what the heck she is talking about and proceed to get really upset as she doesn't seem to know what the hell is going on and keeps naming people that I don't know. She has the claims person call me back who then informs me that the bloke I rear ended in 2005 filed a lawsuit against me beginning of June and I haven't heard about it because they sent a letter to my old address which got returned to them. I proceed to get all worked up because that's what I do when I feel threatened. The lady apologized multiple times but I just can't get over the fact that this guy thinks he can make a buck off of me for an accident in 2005 which resulted in my truck being completely totaled and his SUV had a scratch on it. People SUCK!

Yeah so crying at your desk while trying to accomplish actual work. It blows.

Thank God for my husband. I am awaiting his arrival and he plans to take me out to a fancy dinner with plenty of wine to hopefully chill my nerves. If it wasn't for him I would probably be in freak out mode 24/7.

So to leave you on a happy note here's some fun pics of us the past few months.

Love you David. Thanks for keeping me sane(ish) ;) You mean the world to me.

Congrats on the anniversary. You have fun with that wine. I did last night! Sorry to hear about your bad day. How ironic... the same thing kind of happened to me... twice. Never had a lawsuit filed against me, but two times, I BARELY touched a persons car and then they pitched a fit b/c of a scratch (that I probably didn't cause). I am sorry that you are going through that and I hope it all works out for you. Hang in there.

that way after you wake up from a weekend of hankypankyanniversarybliss, it'll be all taken care of. i'll make him an offer he can't refuse. but i couldn't kill most animals. i'll just put cockroach heads in his bed.

Happy anniversary, too bad you have to have the jerk-who-wants-to-make-a-buck on your mind.

Happy anniversary... too bad it did not land under better circumstances.

I hope you come out unscathed from what reads as a frivolous suit.

So sorry about the lawsuit fiasco. But I'm glad you have someone to lean on who makes you smile and knows when you need a nice dinner and some vino.

Congrats on the anniversary. We celebrated our 8th in April. Nothing better than knowing you're with the "right" fella.

Happy anniversary to you two! How fondly I remember your reception: trivial pursuit and disposable cameras. Ah, good times.

Sorry about the lawsuit. You'd think there would be a statute of limitations on that sort of thing. We'll all be pulling for ya.

Awww, E! It's so great that you have a D to keep you sane(ish)! I totally here you on the stressing out. I am a total type A stress case and lucky for me mrp sounds like D and is a cool cool cucumber that helps mellow me out and keeps me from doing dumb stuff in the heat of the moment. And it's always good in times like these to have running too. Between the running and the mellow dudes, we almost have balance!

The stupid lawsuit might be a pain, but it will pass and good stuff will take it's place. If it is truly a stupid lawsuit, you won't have anything to worry about. 99.9% of judges can sniff 'em out and will toss it if it's frivilous.

But getting back to the good stuff, I hope you have a great fun-filled exciting (and stress-free) weekend!

Best wishes to you for a long and happy life together. And here's what's weird. Your hubby looks like my daughter's boyfriend so much, if I didn't know he only had one brother, married to someone else, I would definitely wonder! So he's got a twin out there somewhere.
