Quickie Post

I "ran" my first 50k race yesterday. I took it extremely easy so as not to irritate my ITB band. I didn't have much pain at all surprisingly and finished! WooHoo!

Tomorrow I am off to an ART therapist first thing in the morning. We are going to take a look at my biomechanics and hopefully figure out what is going on to cause all my little irritations.

Race report to come soon!

Well done. I respect people that can run that far..can't wait to read your race report

Wow! Can't wait to read about this. I'm kanoodling over whether or not to try to get myself ready for a 20 mile trail race in February amidst my regular endurance mountain biking training. Your blog is one of my inspirations. Maybe your continued journey to the 50 mile race will get my butt ready for 20 miles.

Tis the season for doctor visits. I'm off to see if I can get a referral to figure out which biomechanics are causing all of my irritations as well.

That little boy looked interested in what you were holding.
