I am moving on up into a new age group! Yeah! Spent the birthday washing windows and packing for Kalamazoo and Chicago.
I will be at a work conference all week, back Thursday night then leaving Friday morning for Chicago.
Am not prepared at all for this marathon. Let's hope that I haven't lost too much fitness and I can hold 8:30-9 minute pace without beating the crap out of my quads!
Internet useage may be sparce this week. Wish I would have more time to reflect on the marathon coming up etc but I have been super busy and this week will be more of the same!
Hopefully I will be meeting up with some super awesome RBFers next weekend in Chi Town!
Posts to come post Chicago of Birthday party fun (some pics here), Youngstown 50K, and life in general.
Great job Brian, Janet, and Lou today in Columbus! Very proud of you guys!

Happy Birthday! You just moved into 25-29, and I just moved out!!
Enjoy the AG move. Now you can be the youngest in the group instead of the oldest.
Happy Birthday!
25!! Happy Birthday! You were 23 when I met you? I can hardly remember being that young! You've got a lot to be proud of in your young life! Keep making the most of every day!
Happy Birthday, E! Glad you enjoyed it spent the time with family.
Your Chicago plan sounds good. Use as training run for JFK. Try some active recovery and good post-race nutrition in order to get back to training next week.
Thanks for the tips to enjoy my run. Great idea.
Oh yeah, one more thing. The road around Gull Lake is 11 miles. Once, during winter, I bailed on the long run and ran back across the frozen lake. (bows head in shame.)
Happy birthday lady!!!! Guarantee you will have a blast in Chicago!
Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Enjoy your trip to Chicago.

Happy Birthday .... "Run with Me" .... well we almost did last year to the day. I also Birthday with you, mine was the 16th and thankfully no new age group.
Happy 25! Have a great time in Chicago!!
Happy birthday! There is always something "magical" about such a huge marathon. Have a blast!
As an aside--JFK will be here before we know it! Are you running with a team? It's going to be a blast. If you're up for super crazy, there's a 24-hr snowshoe race in PA not too far from DC in mid-Jan. Brrr!
Good luck in Chicago!
